Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

This policy explains what you may and may not send with Sendora. It protects the people who receive email, and the sending reputation every customer shares.

Permission

You may only email people who gave you permission to contact them, and only about what they agreed to. You must be able to show when and how each contact gave permission.

You may not use purchased, rented, traded, scraped or harvested lists, or addresses collected for another purpose.

Content

You may not send:

  • misleading subject lines, sender names or content;
  • malware, phishing, or links to either;
  • content that is illegal where you or your recipients are;
  • content that promotes hatred, harassment or violence;
  • email that hides who sent it.

Every marketing email must include a working unsubscribe link and your postal address. We add both automatically.

Sending quality

We watch bounce and complaint rates for every workspace. If they rise above safe levels, we may pause sending, limit volumes or ask you to clean your list before you continue. Repeated or serious breaches of this policy can lead to suspension.

Reporting abuse

If you received email sent through our service that you did not ask for, tell us through the contact form and include the email if you can.
